Sandspit Yacht Club Regatta April 2021
The 2021 National Secondary Schools Team Sailing Championship will be held Sunday 25th – Friday 30th April.
This will see approx. 35 teams, involving about 300 people.
Boats will begin to be set up in the 7 to 10 days leading up to the National event, with storage beside the swings and also adjacent to the club house, by the path leading to the beach.
Launching will take place at the main ramp with the boat ramp being used predominantly in the morning and late afternoon. During this event, the lower road between the clubhouse and the beach will remain open.
Trailers etc. will be stacked close to the clubhouse, leaving the southern trailer parking area available for locals. All boats and equipment will be moved off in the days following the regatta.
NZ Team Sailing Assn & Sandspit YC apologise for any congestion or delays this event may bring but hope everyone enjoys the spectacle and thanks all for their support.
